Alec Corona was born in El Paso, Texas. He graduated in 2014 with a BFA in Photography from the University of North Texas in Denton. He is currently a Photo Retoucher at Balfour, a Dallas retailer for Universities and High Schools nationwide. His work focuses on the appropriation of images through social networks to create a large image based on the collective rather than the individual. His previous work is about the glorification of sentimental objects to trigger good and bad experiences.
